About Trina B

        

 

 

Since the age of 15, Trina B (Catrina Bowser) has been ruling the industry. As lead singer of the all girl band Sparkle, she was signed with Michael McCary of Boys II Men in the late 90s. Appearing in numerous music videoss including Boys II Mens, Thank You, she simultaneously completing her education in the arts by attending Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and Freedom Theater. Never limited herself to just singing,  Trina B. entered and won several talent shows displaying her ability to dance, including the  Biv 10  Talent Showcase sponsored by Michael Bivens. 
After moderate success with McCary, she moved on to the New York scene, here is where she would find and work with up-coming producers; Young Lord (P-Diddy, BIG Pun, Beyonce), Stevie J (Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Day 26), and Mark Pitts (Usher, T-Pain, Notorious BIG.) New York bought many highs and lows but  Trina B. was destined to pull through it. After many failed promises and fizzled promises, Ms.B headed back up I-95 South, shortly after returning back to her hometown of Philadelphia, she would meet super producer  Herb Middleton (Mary J. Blige, Ann Nesby, Al Green.) Under Herb, she would become exposed to the business side of the industry and begin receiving writing credits for many songs she wrote and produced in the past without any accolades. 
By age 19, she had worked with artist such as Musiq Soul Child and countless others. Her talent for singing and dancing had become a mere numberon the list of her numerous abilities. The focus of writing caused the group to disband.
 Determined not to give up on her girl group, she reinvented the group and changed its name to Callusoul (Call-Us-Soul), this would prove to be clairvoyant for the opportunities to come.
In early 2000s she was introduced to Teddy Riley through a local promoter, this was the break she and her all girl band needed to put music first. Packing up and heading to Virginia Beach, they went straight to work. They recorded several songs but this to would end ill fated for the trio and Trina B. decided to take a break from the industry.
2009 Trina B.  Hit the ground running with Hushhh Publications a company founded by Ms. B herself. As host of Hushhh TV a new web-show that topics Sex, Love, and Relationships, focusing on all aspects of companionship,  her no holds barred attitude, sassy verbiage and ability to help others; increases her love for the camera.

In 2010 Trina joined the cast of the hit play " Black Diamond, show casing her diversity by portraying the role of "Nila," a crack addicted mother. This year belongs to Trina B.Becoming the new face  of  ihollaradio.com (a web based radio station) Trina B. will be the Queen of all internet Media!
